Who: Wayde and Summer
Where: Commellini's Estate - Spokane, WA
It had been just about a year since we took Wayde and Summer's engagement photos so we were anxious to see them again and shoot their wedding! They were hoping for some snow filled winter photos; however, it ended up raining throughout the morning making the snow nearly disappear. They didn't let that bother them at all! They were awesome, they embraced the rain and rocked some outdoor photos!
The morning started with some getting ready photos at Summer's house. Her mom decorated the entire house to give everyone that magical wedding day feeling. It was adorable. The makeup artists and hair stylists arrived and the day began.
While the girls finished up with hair and makeup the boys spruced up in the suite at Commellini's. They finished up just in time for the girls to come take over the area, get in their dresses, and put on the final touches for the big moment.
Wayde and Summer chose to have a very small, intimate ceremony with close family and friends followed by a larger reception. The ceremony was held inside the double doors at Commellini's and created an intimate area for the exchanging of vows.
Wayde requested not to see Summer prior to the ceremony. As she walked up the aisle he was overcome with emotions. She looked radiant and he was quite handsome in his ducktail tux. Seeing each other for the first time that day proved to be a special moment, a moment they will cherish forever.
During the ceremony the two exchanged their own personal vows. I love when couples do this. They are always so heartfelt and draw from true emotions. This time was no different. The vows were difficult to get through without tears taking over. Beautifl job you two!
The cermeony ended, the marriage license was signed, and it was official: Mr. and Mrs. Warfield!
Now...off to take some photos while Commellini's flipped the room just in time for the upcoming reception.
Family photos were first and they were all troopers, even the kids! Summer and Wayde each had two children prior to their courtship. Now they have a beautifully blended family of 6!
The wedding party was a blast and their photos proved so. They did not complain about the cold weather, they enjoyed every moment of it.
Guests were arriving and the place looked fantastic. Summer created all of the beautiful center pieces herself. She even created the cupcake stand! Everything looked wintery and elegant. As the wedding party was announced they came in the room with boom boxes and created a tunnel for the newlyweds to enter through. In they came, Mr. and Mrs. Warfield...right through a tunnel of boom boxes. Pretty fun!
Next up...cocktail hour, mingling, dinner, cake, and dancing!
