The answer is, "HECK NO!" You see them all over the place though; at construction sites, along the highway during road work, at the park and everywhere else. The one place you don't want to see a bright blue or green or any other color porta-potty is is the background of your wedding photos. You'd think this was a no-brainer right? Wrong! I see this all the time at weddings. I'm not sure if people are trying to place the porta-potty in the most convenient spot or what, but I'm here to tell you, your guests can walk a little ways to use the loo.
I understand that having a porta-potty is a necessity most of the time, but please do yourself a favor and put it someplace that is completely out of view. If there isn't such a place where you're getting married, then here are a few easy ways of dressing up old big blue:
1. Build a simple PVC frame around the porta-potty and hang some white linens to hide it.
2. Build a pallet wall to place in front of the porta-potty and hang a cute "restroom" sign on it.
I've even been to a few wedding venues that use porta-potties and have them sitting out where they can readily be seen. If you own a venue, PLEASE hide your porta-potty. This is a simple thing that can make a huge difference for your bride and groom's wedding photos.
